The Chillicothe High School Girls Tennis team opened up the season with a 4-1 victory over Unioto on Wednesday. According to Coach Janet Disbennett, CHS won all singles matches, as well as first doubles.
Results:
1st Singles: Bella Flores (C) defeated Ashley Ater (U), 6-0, 6-0
2nd Singles: Judea Harding (C) defeated Sadie Lamerson (U), 6-2, 7-5
3rd Singles: Avery Miller (C) defeated Margo Lewis (U), 6-3, 6-1
1st Doubles: Kayla Penn/Kynze Bayes (C) defeated Haley Sowers/Zoe Mash (U), 6-3, 6-7(4), 6-0
2nd Doubles: Chloe Detty/Ava Palmer (U) defeated Lillian Brown/Mackenzie Scaggs (C), 6-2, 6-4
Chillicothe will host Teays Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
