The Chillicothe Girls Swim Team defended their home pool as they competed against the Zane Trace and Hillsboro swim teams on Tuesday at the Ross County YMCA.
The girls swim team won a hard fought meet that was separated by only a 5-point margin, with the girls winning 71-66. Individual leading scorers for the girls were Siri Lincke (7 points), Kelsi Oyer (7 points), Mackenzie Scaggs (7 points), Meryl Haller (6 points), Avery Brown (3 points), Simone Fleurima (3 points), Keyera Hatfield (3 points), Abby Richardson (3 points), Evelyn Crall (2 points),
Katherine McCallum (2 points), and Allison Remley (2 points).
Meryl Haller made her mark on the meet by winning the 500-meter freestyle.
