Chillicothe High School thespians will grace the stage of the auditorium later this month to perform their first production of the school year.
Opening night for Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach TYA is set for November 17th, at 7 p.m.
Advisor and CHS ELA teacher Mrs. Amanda Betz said that work began at the beginning of October.
"This is a student-run production," said Betz, "and it's cool to watch them take on the leadership roles, own them, and do such an amazing job."

Betz said that the show is directed by senior Lily Augg, Aaron Ballentine is in charge of music and Darius Ragland is the choreographer.
"I have lots of great cast members," Betz said. "A few that come to mind who are doing amazing are Mack Robison and Grace Shaefer. They play our villains: Spiker and Sponge."
