Halloween Dress-Up Day for CHS seniors took place on Thursday.
"The categories are Overall Best Costume, Funniest Costume, Scariest Costume, Best Duo/Trio, and Best Group," said Miss Megan Clark.
Seniors and staff members dressed up in Halloween Costumes, and students who wanted to compete for the categories reported to the Hatton Gym at 7: 45 a.m. prior to homeroom.
Winners:
Overall Best Costume: Yueqin Chen dressed as a doll
Best Duo/Trio: Abbey Sims-Clark and Maylee Young dressed as Mushu and Mulan
Scariest Costume: Nick Henning dressed as a dead doctor
Funniest Costume: Steven Parke dressed as a pop machine
Best Group: McKenna Hickman, Kylie Baker, and Alaasia Hill dressed as money heist characters
All the others who competed in the Halloween costume contest were Chasity Frizzell and Jericka Knickerbocker as Bob Ross and a painting, Jack Huggins and Carleigh Wagner as Danny and Sandy from Grease, Ady Pabst and Mikayla Lozada as Aladdin and Jasmine, Gaby Hawk and Evan Friend as man in black and an alien, Alex Velazquez and Ariana Shewalter was dress as Gravity Falls and Mabel Pines, Shawn Cutright was Lt. Dan from Forrest Gump, Brennan Mankin as a Five Guys dude, Justin Dunham and Courtney Coats as a dog and Cruella DeVil, Michael Lapurga as Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite, Claudine Noel and Jacob McAdams as Squid Game characters, and Micah Thompson as a doctor with a suitcase.
