Chillicothe Girls Tennis defeats Miami Trace

The Chillicothe Girls Tennis team avenged an early season loss to Miami Trace on Tuesday. CHS beat Miami Trace, 4-1.

According to Coach Janet Disbennett, First Singles player Bella Flores, of Chillicothe, defeated Brooklyn Riggs, of Miami Trace, 6-0, 6-0; Second Singles player Haley Laughlin, of Chillicothe, defeated Miami Trace's Jenna Goddard, 6-3, 6-0; Third Singles player Caitlin Davis, of Miami Trace, defeated Avery Miller, of Chillicothe, 6-4, 7-6(5).


First Doubles team of Chillicothe's Jacey Harding & Taysia Yusuf defeated Raelin Pepper & Jacinta Pettit, of Miami Trace, 6-3, 6-4. Second Doubles Kynze Bayes & Keyera Hatfield, of Chillicothe, defeated Audrie Musser/Maddie Frye, of Miami Trace, 7-5, 6-1.


Chillicothe is currently (5-1) in the FAC and (6-4) overall. The Lady Cavaliers next host Unioto at the city park courts on Thursday.
