Chillicothe girls soccer falls to Marietta

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Chillicothe High School girls soccer team fell to Marietta 12-1 on Saturday.

Junior Emma Slatton scored the lone goal for the Lady Cavaliers in the final four minutes, assisted by sophomore Chloe Beatty. Junior goalkeeper Elaina Crall recorded eight saves.

Chillicothe (0-1) will host Miami Trace at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9.
