Webb throws 100th K of the season

Chillicothe pitcher Morgan Webb reached a milestone during the Lady Cavs' 14-7 win over McClain. The junior earned her 100th strike out of the season on her home field, Wednesday. Webb also hit a homerun for the Lady Cavs' offense.

Seniors Mikayla Spaulding and Julie Lemaster had an explosive night at the plate. Spaulding hit a homerun, triple, single, and had 4 runs batted in, while Lemaster hit two homers and had 3 runs batted in. Freshman short stop Vivian Morgan had three hits, 3 runs batted in, and two stolen bases.

The game proved to be an offensive battle until Chillicothe tacked on a combined 9 runs in the 5th and 6th innings.
