CHILLICOTHE, OH— League positioning will be on the line Friday night as the Chillicothe High School boys varsity basketball team hits the road to face Washington Court House High School in an FAC matchup on Friday, January 9th. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Both teams enter the contest with identical (2–1) league records, adding extra importance to the matchup as the conference race begins to take shape. With standings tightly packed, Friday’s result could give the winner a valuable edge moving forward.
Chillicothe will look to stay sharp away from home, relying on strong team defense and efficient offensive execution to counter the challenge of a hostile gym. Washington Court House, meanwhile, will aim to defend its home court and build on its early league success with an important conference win.
League games often bring increased intensity, and this one should be no exception. Expect a physical, competitive contest marked by energy on both ends of the floor, as well as a strong atmosphere from both student sections.
Key factors to watch will include rebounding, ball control, and which team can dictate tempo, especially in late-game situations.
Current League Standings:
1.) Miami Trace (3-0)
2.) Chillicothe (2-1)
3.) Jackson (2-1)
4.) Washington (2-1)
5.) McClain (0-3)
6.) Hillsboro (0-3)
