CHILLICOTHE, OH – Chillicothe High School and McClain High School will meet again in an important league matchup on Saturday, January 10th. Tip-off in Chillicothe’s Hatton Gymnasium is scheduled for 7 p.m.Â

The girls basketball contest brings together two familiar conference opponents as the season begins to hit its midpoint and every league game carries added significance. The last time the teams met was December 3rd, so this is a much renewed rematch.Â
For Chillicothe, the matchup represents an opportunity to measure progress made since the opening weeks of the season. Head Coach Benson has emphasized growth and consistency, noting that the team is nearing midseason and now is the time for that work to translate onto the court. Practices have focused on execution, defensive intensity, and playing together in key moments.
Benson describes how midseason is quickly approaching, and that it is time to start showing the hard work put in during practice. League games test you mentally and physically, and it’s time to demonstrate the capability that the Lady Cavs have of both.Â
McClain enters the game looking to make a statement of its own in conference play, setting the stage for a competitive atmosphere. With league standings on the line and both teams aiming to build momentum, Saturday night’s matchup promises to be a spirited battle as each program looks to establish itself heading into the second half of the season.
