Lady Cavs Tennis Edges Teays Valley, 3-2

Chillicothe's Girls Tennis team earned its second win of the season after defeating Teays Valley, 3-2, at home on Thursday.

The Lady Cavs were victorious in all singles matches, featuring juniors Bella Flores, Judea Harding, and Avery Miller.

• 1st Singles: Bella Flores (C) defeated Lauren Arledge (TV), 6-0, 6-0

• 2nd Singles: Judea Harding (C) defeated Ryleigh McCoy (TV), 6-3, 6-0

• 3rd Singles: Avery Miller (C) defeated Presley Hamilton (TV), 6-1, 6-3

• 1st Doubles: Alyssa Horsley/Mackenzie Lehman (TV) defeated Kayla Penn/Kynze Bayes (C), 6-2, 6-4

• 2nd Doubles: Destiny Horsley/McKenna Kautz (TV) defeated Lillian Brown/Mackenzie Scaggs (C), 6-0, 6-0

According to CHS Coach Janet Disbennett, the Lady Cavs will next host Waverly on Monday at 11 a.m.
