CHS Girls Tennis defeats Hillsboro, 4-1

The Lady Cavs Tennis team earned its first FAC win of the season after beating Hillsboro, 4-1, on Tuesday. With the win, Chillicothe improved its overall record to (4-0).

Scoring:

• 1st Singles: Bella Flores (C) defeated Scarlett Studebaker (H), 6-0, 6-0

• 2nd Singles: Judea Harding (C) defeated Aly Johnson (H), 6-3, 6-2

• 3rd Singles: Avery Miller (C) defeated Jenna Hart (H), 7-5, 6-1

• 1st Doubles: Kayla Penn/Kynze Bayes (C) defeated Kallie Sharp/Keyle Johnson (H), 5-7, 6-3, 6-2

• 2nd Doubles: Willow Becker/Adalyn Gaines (H) defeated Lillian Brown/Mackenzie Scaggs (C), 4-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-2)

According to CHS Coach Janet Disbennett, Chillicothe travels to Washington Court House for a Thursday match up.
