Chillicothe Choirs perform well at OMEA District 16 Event

Members of the Chillicothe High School Choral Program performed well at the OMEA District 16 competition at Miami Trace.

According to Director Mrs. Mala Kennard, the Chillicothe Symphonic Choir and the Chillicothe Select Choir -- consisting of Olivia Barrows, Amelia Holsinger, Carly Routte, and Ashley Seymour -- earned a Superior rating.

Kennard said that the Symphonic Choir will compete at the State OMEA Choir Event on April 28th at Tippecanoe High School.

Additionally, the CHS Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Mrs. Michelle Turon, earned an Excellent rating at the OMEA District 16 Band Event.
