Chillicothe beats Portsmouth west

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Cartae Ligon rushed for 304 yards and four touchdowns to lead Chillicothe to a 46–22 win over Portsmouth West on Friday night, giving the Cavaliers back-to-back victories and a season-high scoring performance.


Chillicothe (2–2) dominated on the ground, with Ligon averaging 8.9 yards per carry. Receiver Jeremy Cain added 96 yards through the air, contributing to a balanced offensive attack.


Senators quarterback Brody Hall threw for 141 yards and three touchdowns, But the team was unable to slow Chillicothe’s rushing attack.


Chillicothe will host Wilmington at 7 p.m. Friday.
