Teacher Spotlight: Mr. Justin Myers

Thao Nguyen and Asley Centeno Lopez interviewed Chillicothe Middle/High School teacher Justin Myers earlier this week.


Q: What do you teach?

A: I teach the English Language Learners from k-12 and also 8th grade history.

Q: Do you have pets?

A: I have two dogs.


Q: Where did you go to college?

A: I went to college at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Q: Why did you become a teacher?

A: I became a teacher so I could help other people be successful.

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: I like to watch movies, coach/watch sports, and spend time with my family.

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: My favorite food is a dish called the "Barnyard Buster" from a restaurant in Columbus named "Tee Jayes." It is biscuits, eggs, and potatoes covered in sausage gravy.


Q: What is your pet peeve?

A: My pet peeve is when students stare at their assignment for 10 mins and do nothing. Then when asked why they did nothing, they say "I need a pencil."
