Q: What is your name, and what theater troupe are you a part of?
A: Stella Ngalle, and I’m a part of Thespian Troupe #3170.
Q: Can you tell me what the upcoming Ohio Thespian Festival is?
A: It is when superior thespian troupes from all over Ohio meet up and do performances and workshops.
Q: When is it and where is it being held?
A: It is the second weekend of April, and it is being held here at Chillicothe High School.
Q: Is your troupe performing at the festival?
A: Yes, we are performing our competition show Bright Star. Many thespians from my troupe are also performing in the all-Ohio show, Ragtime.
Q: Can people come and watch?Â
A: No, it is an event only for invited thespians and volunteers.
Q: How do you prepare?
A: If you are taking a show (like a musical or play), you need to do rehearsals with your cast. If you are taking a solo or an ensemble, you have to do solo rehearsals on your own. You can also use the festival’s app to see what workshops are available.
