CHS Wrestling Places 4th at Jeff Ardnt Classic

Chillicothe's Wrestling team competed in the Jeff Ardnt Classic at Amanda-Clearcreek High School on Saturday. According to CHS Coach Mike Peck, the Cavaliers finished fourth overall.

For the Cavaliers, 8 individuals placed in their weight classes. Leading CHS was junior Mike Hicks, who won the 132-lb weight class. Trevor Banks, a junior, finished 2nd in the 285-lb weight class. Sophomore Oscar Morgan finished 3rd in the 138-lb weight class. CHS had three 4th-place finishes by sophomores Evan Lake (157-lb weight class), Wes Scott (144-weight class), and Caleb Williams (165-lb weight class). Freshman Jeremyah Teurman placed 5th in the 126-lb weight class, and freshman Klayton Hollis placed 8th in the 106-lb weight class.
