CHS Lacrosse Falls to Bellbrook

Chillicothe girls lacrosse fell 12-3 to Bellbrook on Tuesday.

"We were short handed tonight with two starters missing the game, and we came out very slow in the first half," said Coach Allen Hawk. "We never gave up and played tough in the second half but couldn't muster much offense against Bellbrook's zone defense."

CHS sophomore midfielder Mallory Seymour set the team record for most groundballs in a game at 11. This smashed the previous record of 7 set by Sarah Harness in 2018.

Chillicothe Stat Leaders:

  • Mallory Seymour - 11 groundballs, 1 assist, & 2 caused turnovers

  • Alizye Clemmons - 3 goals

  • Kelsi Oyer - 3 groundballs, 1 draw control, & 1 caused turnover

  • Kailey Doughty - 3 draw controls, 1 groundball, & 1 caused turnover

  • Ana Frease - 17 saves & 9 successful clears

The CHS lacrosse team will host Big Walnut on Thursday.
