Chillicothe Softball falls to Hillsboro in 10 innings

Hillsboro needed an extra inning to defeat the Lady Cavaliers Softball Team, 2-1, on Monday.

Chillicothe freshman pitcher CJ Rittinger delivered 11 strikeouts and gave up just 2 hits.

The Lady Cavs offense saw hits from junior Alyssa Dudley, sophomore Vivian Morgan, and sophomore Brianna Cousins. Morgan also accounted for a stolen base and Chillicothe's lone scored run.

Chillicothe's second league match-up against Hillsboro, originally set for today, was postponed due to "predicted severe weather."
