The Chillicothe Girls Swim Team repeated as FAC champions after a narrow 3-point win over McClain. In an all-around effort, the Cavaliers overcame an 18-point deficit after event 7 of the 11 events in the meet. The comeback effort was aided by wins in the 200 Freestyle Relay, which consisted of swimmers Katherine McCallum, Simone Fleurima, Siri Lincke, and Isabella Fischer, the 100 Breaststroke where Fischer won, and the 400 Freestyle Relay, which consisted of swimmers Simone Fleurima, Siri Lincke, Kelsi Oyer, and Isabella Fischer.
Individual top scorers for the meet were: Bella Flores (25 points), Meryl Haller (22 points), and Kelsi Oyer and Isabella Fischer (16 points).
All-FAC swimmers for the girls were Isabella Fischer, Siri Lincke, Simone Fleurima, Katherine McCallum, and Kelsi Oyer.
Up next for the Lady Cavs is Sectional Championships where individuals can advance to districts and then state.
