Thao Nguyen interviewed Chillicothe High School science teacher Mrs. Dawn Wilson earlier this week.

Q: What do you teach?

A: Biology I, AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, Botany, and AIM.


Q: Do you have a pet?

A: I have eight dogs, a cat, and a hedgehog.


Q: What college did you go to?

A: Denison University (Bachelors), Wright State University (Masters), and Miami (Masters).


Q: Why did you become a teacher?

A: Because my career in medicine interfered with my family, and I wanted to help kids understand science and love it as much as I do.


Q: What are your hobbies?

A: Shopping, dog training, gardening.


Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Lobster or shrimp anything.


Q: What is your pet peeve?

A: People who do not listen and/or follow instructions.
