College Admissions Deadline Looming

November 1st is the deadline for many college applications.

"I have a non-stop line of seniors coming into my room today," said Jami Massie, ACT Prep and French Teacher at Chillicothe High School.

Massie estimated that the Class of 2024 has approximately 270 students.

Massie recommends that seniors begin their Common App in August of their senior year.

"Don't wait until the last minute," she said. "Begin early."

Early action decisions tend to roll in in December, Massie said.
