This fall, Chillicothe High School’s digital newspaper writers are featuring members of the teaching staff in the CHS Teacher Spotlight! This week, junior Evelyn Vitatoe interviewed Ms. Molli Walters.
Q: What do you teach at Chillicothe High School?
A: I teach Biology, Physical Science, and Honors Chemistry.
Q: Where did you attend high school?
A: I attended Huntington High School.
Q: Where did you go to college?
A: I went to college at Shawnee State University.
Q: Do you have any pets? If so, what kind and what are their names?
A: I have a calico cat named "Mushu" and a teddy bear dog named "Bandit".
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: My hobbies include coaching volleyball, collecting plants, traveling, camping, and hiking. I love spending my time out in nature. I have visited and hiked in several national parks across the U.S., but there are still a lot on my bucket list that I haven't gotten to yet.
Q: What TV show do you like to watch?
A: I hardly ever watch TV, so I don't really have a favorite show.
Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: I recently watched "Top Gun: Maverick" and loved it, so probably that right now. I really like the movie "Inception" as well.
Q: What is the last song you listened to?
A: The last song I listened to was "Yellow" by Coldplay.
Q: What’s your secret talent?
A: I think my secret talent is also being kept a secret from me because I'm not sure what it is.
Q: What’s your favorite restaurant?
A: My favorite restaurant is either Chipotle or Texas Roadhouse.
