Chillicothe's girls lacrosse team earned its first win of the season after defeating Wellington on Monday.

"It was a big one for us, exploding for the most goals scored in the last two seasons with a 15-7 win," said CHS Coach Allen Hawk. "Our defense really stepped up along with the offense, only allowing 14 shots on goal. It was a full team effort tonight. The girls played for each other in a very physical game."
