CHS/CMS Library Re-Opens for 2021-2022

After a year-long closure, the CHS/CMS library has returned and is now led by first-year library aide Catherine Thornburg.

Last year, the library was closed because large digital media classes were held in the space to allow for social distancing amid COVID concerns.

"It's great to have it back up and running with the interaction with students again," said Thornburg. "We are asking, of course, that you wear your mask, and that they are pulled up correctly over your nose, and also we have hand sanitizer that we ask you to use before and after you handle the books, and of course social distancing.”

If students want to go to the library, Thornburg said that they can do so "during school hours and at any time during the day.”

The CHS/CMS library is located right next to the nurse's office and is available to any students in grades 7-12.
