The William Gozy Parade will take place today from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. The parade route is 1.6 miles long and will begin and end in the high school parking lot!
Attention Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshman: Are you interested in Student Class Council or Executive Council? If you answered yes, then make sure to nominate yourself for next year's council! Starting Monday, May 1st, through Thursday, May 4th, there will be a Self-Nomination form in your Classes Classroom for you to fill out. Once, you have filled out the form, make sure to pick up an application from Miss. Clark in room 229. All Applications will be due by 3:15 PM on Friday, May 5th. No applications will be accepted after this time.
Attention Students: The Senior Class is holding a Spirit Week to celebrate their last full week of school, May 8th through May 12th. The Class Council picked some of their favorite days through their 4 years here. The Days are as follows: Monday, May 8th: Anything but a Back Pack; Tuesday, May 9th: Soccer Mom vs BBQ Dad; Wednesday, May 10th: Class Colors (Freshmen wear yellow, sophomores wear black, juniors wear blue, seniors wear pink, and teachers wear orange); Thursday, May 11th: Beach v. Biker; Friday, May 12th: Spirit Day (Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors wear Cavs Blue, Seniors wear future plans gear, and teachers wear college alumni shirts).
Seniors: Your portraits, baby photos, and quotes for the yearbook are past due! If you have not yet submitted these, please check the Class of 2023 Google Classroom and/or send them to vanessa.george@ccsd.us!
Are you interested in joining the Marching Cavalier Color Guard? Clinics will be May 8th, 15th, and 16th from 3:30-5:30pm in the CMS/CHS Cafeteria. Come dressed in athletic clothing with tennis shoes. There is no experience required and you will be taught everything you need to know for auditions. Auditions will be Wednesday, May 17th beginning at 3:30pm in the cafeteria. Contact Mrs. Turon if you have any questions.
The Marine Biology Class will be going to the Newport Aquarium on Thursday May 4th. All students who have taken the class during the 2022-2023 school year may go! So, if you were in the First Semester Marine Biology class, stop in Mr. Bushong's room and pick up a Field Trip Release Form for your Teachers and Parent/Guardian to sign. More information will be available in the upcoming weeks.
Students, if you are eligible for the PBIS trip to Kings Island, you should have received an email through Final Forms with a Google form. Please have it filled out by Friday, April 28th. If you did not receive an email and think you should have, please contact Mrs. Arledge or Miss Schroeder. You will receive additional information in the following week so keep an eye out for it.
