Chillicothe Percussionist Makes State Honor Band

A Chillicothe High School senior recently auditioned and was accepted into the All-State Honor Band as a percussionist. According to Director Mrs. Michelle Turon, Lucas Mettler is the first Chillicothe band member to achieve this honor in recent years.

"This is a huge honor as it is a highly selective process in the state," Turon said.

He will perform with the All-State Band in February 2024 as part of the OMEA Conference in Columbus.
