Chillicothe High School recently released its academic recognition for the second grading period of the 2025-2026 school year. To make the High Honor Roll, students had to achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher, while students who earned 3.0-3.49 were named to the Honor Roll. The Cavalier also included the Pickaway-Ross Career & Technology Center Honor Roll for students whose home school is Chillicothe. 9th Grade High Honor Roll:   Jillian Ackley, Lilly Ames, Kearston Archer, Madison

Chillicothe sophomore Cartae Ligon was named the FAC's Player of the Year. Ligon rushed for more than 2,000 yards and scored 25 times. He also caught 29 passes for 297 yards and two scores. Ligon was joined on the all-FAC list by his teammates; senior  Truitt McGlone, senior Nate Scissum, junior Trace McAllister,  and junior  Conner Rutherford.

Veterans Day Breakfast and Assembly A Veterans Day Breakfast and Assembly will be held Friday, Nov. 7. Sign-ups to bring a veteran are available on Google Classroom. Breakfast will be served from 8 to 8:45 a.m., followed by an assembly in the Hatton Gym at 9 a.m. The guest speaker will be Mr. James Lowe. There will be no school Tuesday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day.
